I have had some luck making mock scrapes.What I do is find a tree that makes you think hey, if i was a buck i' d rub on that!You need to find a big stick to rip up the ground a bit--usually i make an oblong shape on the ground--twice as long as it is wide--trying to keep MY scent down to a minimum.I then hang a scent dripper over the scrape(i like to use full spectrum scent).I try to do this about 4-7 days before i plan to hunt it.JMO.
