I think if you add some JAIL time and ,yes, stiffer fines , it will stop some of the idiots. We as hunters need to be policing our own ranks. Too many guys I know are afraid of retaliation from the slobs if they were to turn poachers and law breakers in. So many incidents go unnoticed.
This is a sad thing IMO.
I for one would have no problem detaining a poacher or reporting an incident. I'll be happy to testify if the need be.
As you can tell, this gets me PO'ed.
Does anyone know if poaching is a felony??
