There are some problems with it though. For instance you come here to hunt a short term. If you dont smack a doe right away it kinda sucks. Or guys that dont bow hunt have to go out on the rifle opener and shoot a doe. It would be great if eab could be transfered to another hunter. There are many years that I shoot more than one doe. I would gladly pass one on to another hunter. I think that over population is going to lead to more and more disease. I keep hearing about more all the time. Sometimes us hunters are asked to do things we might not want to do but it is good for the deer and the future of hunting. We have to keep that in mind.
EAB can sometimes be a PITA, but it is working. In the area that I hunt, I was able to take 2 does in mid Oct. I never took a buck in Wi last year so I am good for this year right from the start.
