Default RE: Question for "mature buck" advocates

ORIGINAL: magicman54494

I was trying to explain how I believe we could manage our deer herd so that all hunters could enjoy the hunt that they wanted. It is apparent that you want the solution that will suit your needs. You first say shooting bucks has little effect of the population, then you contradict yourself by suggesting we shoot small bucks to control our population.
I would like to have you explain how your solution helps improve the hunt for everyone, not just you. If my idea is so bad then instead of attacking and critisizing me I challenge you to develope a better plan. As for "peer pressure", I am my own man and I always do what I feel is right reguardless of what other people say.
That's great. I'm not pushing any solution just pointing out that historically speaking does have been protected to grow the herd and shooting them would led to a reduced herd. I don't think I've ever said what kind of hunter I am or whatneeds I have. As far as a plan, that's my business.

It's hard to tell but I'm not atacking you just speaking publicly, in a public forum to many not just you about an ideaoligy you are doing the same, nothing personal either way. I don't fell atacked by you. Many say (not you ) shoot a doe, I'm saying there's reasons not too, that's all.

It's good you always do what's right, wish I could say the same about myself, it just seems and this thread points it out that people are looked down on for shooting a lesser deer and that could be a contributing factor to the over population of deer in your state. A forced earn a buck law would further support the notion.

Your a little "fork horn" anyways, Ill give you a pass.

JUST KIDDING
