Default RE: Is this site a bowtech site??

I surround myself with like minded people.........LOL
Seriously the "Corporate Staff" thing as it relates to members here really came about by accident quite a few years ago.
Pat (Bowtech_Shooter) was given the task of starting a staff of guys who would help represent Bowtech at shows and help with internet tech support etc since they were such a young and new company.
Pat asked myself and "JeffB" back in 2002? to get things started. I may have been the first guy in PA to be shooting a Bowtech way back in 2000-2001 as nobody I had encountered even heard of them and through my support of the bows and my status on here,I got "noticed" if you will.
So I was in on the ground floor.

Things started happening quickly and it was soon apparent that we needed more people as events grew, the company and demands grew.
So naturally We started finding guys who had shot the bows for a while, had the right personalities and abilities and invited a few here and there to join.
This was sortof the breeding ground for that..........we got some guys from various states who knew what they were talking about, were loyal and excited about the products.

Naturally I am going to look to guys I know and trust with MY reputation and Pats because who we select reflects on us and ultimately Bowtech. (or the other way around! LOL)

Anyway I had guys in mind and sort of lined up for slots in various parts of the country but I wanted to see them get aquainted with the bows and genuinely want to be associated with them.
Some are friends I trust, others were total strangers who BECAME friends I trust.
The fact that a few of them are moderators here is just a natural extension of that like minded approach as HNI seemed to trust me and some others with "running" this forum if you will.

So we are where we are today and although it might seem like we're "Flooded" with Bowtech here it's mainly because some of us are a couple of the more vocal and long time members and of course Bowtech is helping to pay the light bill around here so all you knuckleheads have a place to play under the lights.

It's a nice resource to have if you are interested in the bows, if any of us can't answer a technical question we WILL find the answer for you in a timely manner.
But as always we are members first, and I also fully expect each and every one of these guys to never EVER say a bad word about another company's bows. That's been ingrained in me since day one quite a few years ago.

Many of us are friends, some have become very close friends, we're all members, and some of us are charged with enforcing the rules but we're all here for one common goal........to have fun, make some new friends and share a big ol' internet campfire.
