Dadgone Chad, are the first of your family to walk upright. I didn't think you were a real tall guy and you have 30.5" draw. I am 6'2" and only am 28".
LOL! Chad's a pretty good size fella. I wouldn't grab him during a fight. Of course, I could easily out run him.
A lot of things can affect your draw length. Open or closed stance, how much you bend the elbow on your bow arm, where you anchor on your face, leaning into the string, etc.Then some folks are just builtwith longer arms than others.If I close my stance more and extendmore, I can come pretty close to 30" but it feels really off balance for me.
And this brings up another question. When you guys quot draw length, are you quoting AMO draw (True draw+1.75"), or from you nocking point to the back of your riser.
Typically, Ijust measure from the back of he riser on my recurves. Though, the problem with doing that is not all risers are the samesize, particularly when comparing large risered recurves to longbows. True draw would probablybe a more accurate measurement from bow tobow.
