I might be short drawing. I only draw to my k9 tooth. Are you guys drawing past that. I see some drawing past thier cheek.

28" does seem short for you. My guess is that you are "Going TO" the string with your head rather than keeping your head upright and getting your elbow back and around stretching out and through with your back.
I know when I started shooting 2yrs ago with my vintage recurves, 50# r's no less I had a 28" aluminum arrow that I wasn't even getting to the front of the riser. I was so short drawing and going to the string it must have looked comical.
As I kept building up the strength and learning proper form those arrows just kept coming further and further back until I finally found a draw length. LOL
I can take that same arrow I started with now and just pull it straight off the back of the shelf now.
I think your right. I am going to have to video tape it this weekend. Because I easily draw a compound 30".
