Just bought a new 07 Vectrix XL. Upgraded from an 07 Bear Truth. I found this posting thread while doing some research online. I love the new bow. Definately has low hand shock and good speed. However, It makes a prounounced "twang" when fired, like a string buzz/slap. I took it to the pro-shop where I bought the bow, but they told me the sound was normal. Another shop told me the same thing. I just dont beleive it. The bow, which is supposed to be one of the quietest on the market is louder than my Bear.

I have string silencers on the stings and cables, but they didn't make much difference. I also adjusted the string supressor in and out, but cant make a difference there either.
