I had a marlin model 60 and I have a Ruger 10/22 and I would take the ruger hands down. It shoots great and loads easy trust me the tube mag gets old fast. My ruger shots the center dot out of a tagret at 50 yards when using shooting sticks. When I got it I shot against my dad and the marling 60 he had for 30 years and shot just as good and it was the first time the gun was shot. It will only get better it use.
