I been reading alot about FOC on this forum so i decided to put on some 125gr. tips on and I saw 2 to3 inch drop in my arrows at 30.I shoot a dren at 67 lb with 28 1/2 DR and 28 arrow fmj 400s and my bow is in tune.any comments thanks david
I'd check things out although the heavier fmj may cause an arrow to drop like that from 20-30. Dropping like that from a 100 head to a 125 shouldn't happen on it's own I'd say. You can have a bow set up all kinds of ways and it be tuned/consistant arrow placement, doesn't mean it's getting everything it can out of it. Sounds like your nock is high and you could get flatter trajectory.
The 2 I just made up are 340 fmj's. They are heavier than I was shooting by about 90 grns.
Haven't shot them enough to know how they drop at longer distances. I did shot today. At 20 yrds or so I hit the same hole with both arrows.No diff there.
