colorado state wide is ovc for elk I think with some exceptions. The San Juan forest in the Southwest
is very large, around 8 million acres. Quite a few elk and lots of mule deer.Last year while on diy for
elkI saw lots of good mule deer.We are going back this fall and my son in law is trying for a mullie tag.
