Hmm.. if we had a barrel of fish that we
wanted to eat we'd take the time to clean them or bring a cooler. We take a gigantic cooler when we go down to KY. We bring back lots of bighead fillets and down there you can bowfish for tasty paddlefish and catfish too.
Other than a few taken in the Spring when the water is cool, we don't eat a lot of common carp. We give them away or use them for fertilizer. We do have some really great tomato and squash plants.
