well what does it mean that i have 14.17% FOC, and if my insert weighs 8 grains which i think it does my FOC will be 14.97%.
Simple explanation is if you arrow were 27" long and had a FOC of 10% it would actually balance 2.7" in front of the actual measuredcenter. The FOC % is the percentage of the total arrow length measured from actual center to where it will actually balance. I figure all mine the old fashioned way, measuring, marking, balancing, and then calculating the %.
