Use the grip shown in the pictures, but rather than "force" or hold the fingers in that position once you come to full draw just them relax and fall where they want. Mine end up lightly laying against the front of the riser.

You should not force your grip to do anything, set it and relax your hand.

A forced open hand grip is just as bad as a tight closed grip, maybe not quite as bad, but still not good. Plus it is tiring after shooting for a while.
