I'm sure everyone was waiting for me to chime in here... So I will.
If I used the 55 grain broadheads that I have, I could be hunting at that speed. But, my hunting heads are 30 grains bigger, so my speed dips down to the 350 range for deer hunting.
That's at 29" 70#, with an arrow weighing somewhere around 250 grains. HCA Iron Mace, Speed Pro 5.5. On over 7" of brace height.
I should notethat theCrazy-fastQueen Mother of all Rocket Arrows wasn'tjust a one-time thing where I stood back, closed my eyes and fired - just to see how fast I could make it go (hoping my bow didn'texplode).I canshoot that arrow all day long. Hell, I hunted with it. LOL
Really doesn't mean much. I've seen a lot of bows that will shoot faster than that with those weight arrows.[8D]I've shot a lot of Speed bows down through the years and I've never shot a smoother, faster, handshock free bow as the Airborne 82. Mine is pushing a Legal arrow 318fps at 28" draw and 60#
