Skeet shooting requires using a weapon in public, so does 3d shoots or even indoor ranges.....where does it end? Should the state mandate that everyone who does anything remotely dangerous or have any history of danger involved in what they do be trained, tested and authorized to participate in what they want to do?

At what point did the land of the "Free" and home of the "Brave" become land of the "licensed, tested, mandated" and home of the "fearfull of what might happen".
Don'tthose activities usually take place on private property? I'm sure the safety concerns are addressed that will not let the projectiles leave the premises into the public.I don't think little Billy and his Dad from down the road, can actually walk down range into harms way.
