I guess my 2007 buck would be my biggest accomplisment if we're talking something on the wall,even though technically it was about a dozen separate lucky events wrapped into one and I found myself in the middle of it with a bow in my hand. LOL

One of the things I am most proud of was not forcing a shot on a true Illinos monster buck4 yrs ago. I had him at 18 yds broadside (probably a 160+ ten pt) but there was just enough junk in the way that I couldn't clear it safely and get to the vitals no matter how hard I tried.I had a clear shot at his guts and butt but watched him trot off.
Trust me that was a seriously hard thing to do for a guy like me who had never seen a deer like that beyond magazines in his life........I can still see that rack trotting away after a doe and me left holding the bag.
