South Dakota or Kansas are out of the question, even though I can fly myself there and back way cheaper than the airlines time is the clincher.

So whatI am looking for is a self guided wild bird hunt anywhere east of Kansas for myself, Son and Daughter on or around 20 December. What options and/or places are out there as an internet search didn't pull much. Thanks
