Well, if your talking about the walmart weatherby, it isn' t really a weatherby. It' s made by Howa. But it has the weatherby guarentees as a weatherby so it' s a pretty good deal. Howa rifles are very good rifles with a nice action. So I would go with that. I wouldn' t get a 710.

NEF makes a fair rifle for around 200 bucks. Savage is a good rifle. Also there is the winchester black shadow if you want something with a synthetic stock, it' s under 400 dollars. Marlin makes a great rifle although the choice of calibers is a little limited.
