I know you are supposed to shoot 5 gpi
I think you mean 5gr per lb of draw weight.

But, what if you have an STS? Would this allow you to shoot a lighter arrow, let's say, a 300 gr arrow at 70 lbs
IMHO no and if you did you would void the bows warranty
