I dont know if they are owned by remington,but I've heard several rumors over the years of fire destroying the equipment,and of a truck wrecked while they were hauling the equipment,and others.But I did personally e-mail aguila and they contacted me back and said;it's not a rumor any more that they were producing the round again and gave me a list of vendors,and it is truly a great little round.We cant shoot turkeys in KY with a rifle or pistol,boy you talk about extending your shooting range from 40 to 300 with a high powered rifle they wouldn't have a chance.I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.As soon as I get it I'll post info on accuracy and functioning in a magazine rifle.
