The guy who stole it didn't want the rack for his recognition, he most likely was after the money that Goliath's semen samples (big big $), but in the deer breeding world, I'm sure everyone knew about this deer so I honestly don't know how the thief expected to get away with it (although I think he had the deer captive for a couple of years)
