Yeah, your right, I think he was tryin to tell me that the pattern on that gun opens up too much... or maybe his buddy's a crap shot...
Had to be one or the other,I've shot a 10 since 83 and the gun can account for more birds than you can count on all your toes as well as fingers two times plus, 99% of em were in great shape and fine table fare.Just a few were shot up pretty bad by shooting a cripple on the ground or in the air.My gun is an Ithica block stock and and barrel except for fibre optic sites and BNT thats exactly what I personally would reccomend,unless you have some sort of eye diffiency.Just because its a 10 doesn't neccassarily mean longer downrange shots,with that in mind I'd stick with keeping the gun as light as possible in traveling in the field,because imho the weight issue is the only negative of a 10G...
