I don't practice with it on, so I don'thunt with it on. I believe it just gets in the way and can be a potential noise maker. Mine comes off when I get set up, and hung onthe tree screwthat I have turned in just below, and behindtheseat portion of my stand. Secures the stand and keeps the quiver out of the way.I keep a back up arrow in my easy to access day pack, broadhead down.
