There are tons of hunting books out there that people can read to improve their hunting knowledge. But what we realized is there aren't that many that actually teach you how to track down animals using a topographic map and GPS unit. So we created a
hunting workbook that teaches new hunters what to look for on a topographic map, such as food (grassy fields) and water (stock tanks in Arizona). Next we teach them to locate areas on big hills and mountains that have good potential for bedding areas. Once we map them on a topographic map, we teach people to plan a scouting trip to explore the areas usinga GPS to find all ofthe planned scouting locations.
Once you are in the field, we teach you what to scout for. What does an elk bed, elk wallow, fresh droppings, fresh grazing signs, or a string of rubs/scrapes look like? What do they mean. We also cover setting up tree stands, installing game cameras and putting out bait such as salt licks and alfalfa pellets.

These subjects and much more are covered in a 65-page workbook.
