2007 was the first time I hunted in almost 18 years.

Got drawn for a non-resident license in Montana where I grew up and got this respectable 145" Mule deer on public land:



Bought some land in Texas to hunt on and got my first ever whitetail buck, it came in right at dusk and I thought it was a 3 1/2 year old but it turned out to be a 2 1/2 year old that scored right at 100".



Sorry for the pictures, both times I didn't have my camera with me and ended up having the deer quartered up before I got to a camera.

I did get a good picture of my antelope that I shot on my DIY hunt on public land in Montana though.
