RE: tikka T3 rifles
I currently have a BSA CF2 in 243w which is too heavy and want to replace it. The Tikka T3 litehas to be a good choice judging from what is written. My options are SS syn inblackor camo, 243 or 25-06.I mainly shoot pigs in the bush (woods) andopen country. I have a few questions for those who have used a T3 syn for serveral years. I know they shoot great etc, but what about other areas of the rifle.
1- what is the durability of the syn stock, doesthe black stockmark, scuff or wear in general use. Does the camo surface suffer at all and show black if marked. Basically what does the T3 look like after a few years.
2- I like the 243w low recoil and noise and it works well for me, if I'm going to upgrade should I also go for the 25-06. What would be the main difference between the two rounds, does one better suit the T3 barrel length.
