Well boys, it should be waxed after shooting to allow the string conditioners to be absorbed by the string. If you put it on before shooting most of it will get spit off. Make sense? You can over wax a string to a point that it slows down the string. Waxing just a little over the whole surface prevents this. The wax is there to reduce friction between string fibers to prevent breakdown, to prevent water aborbsion into the fibers and some prevent fading of the colours. I hope everyone waxes the loops.
