you get your limbs in, be sure to test this theory, as you will have both limbs for the exact same bow. Im honestly curious as to whether this is truely fact or just a myth. From my experiences, agreed that they are limited compared to most on here, 60 lb limbs are quieter, but not enough for it to make a difference hunting IMO.
I just did this. Took 70 limbs off of my bow and put on 60 limbs. Shot them both maxed out, at about 65/55 and at about 60. I did not notice any difference in sound. It was just as quiet every time. With a noise supressor it was even quieter. On this particular bow I did not even notice a difference in noise from max to minimum on either limbs.
If you are shooting lower poundage for the quietness then I would think you would shoot 500gr+ arrows for the quietness too and a more efficient energy transfer(reason for the quietness)plus a high FOC for the penetration, especially at lower DW's.
