I love to stalk trukeys, but you have to make damn sure you are not stalking a bird being worked by another hunter. To do so is a good way to get shot. You never know where a shot will come from or when, as the person working the bird may not know you are there. This very thing happened to 2 guys I work with, and they are. or were hunting partners hunting the same timber. [] Both believe the other was at fault, but in my opinion the stalker was taking a chance and lost. The shot was a good shot, someone just happened to be in the timber across the small field .
