On Or Off
I always take mine off as i find it as extra weight on the balance side, just a preference ,but I do leave it on while stalking,I also practice normally1/2 my shots with it on. I use the Alpine soft loc quiver which actully acts as a dubbing device from all the soft rubber. It's totally noise free from taking it off to snapping it back in place when I leave. As to what Gammat said earlier by snapping all his arrows of with in a quick span[:@]. That has totally baffeled every reason why I practice[].I hunt some pretty big moose andelk and have never needed the follow up shot.I've only had to take one shot and this year was the 1st time I tried a follow up shot due to the circumstance. With the quiver on a limb hanging I plucked my second arrow with no problem at all .I guess it's all up to the individule,I myself hang mine. Good luck with your choice,it's just a matter of preference & comfortin my mind.
