Default RE: Do you Turkey Hunt your deer properties ?

I still think you'd be alright DT. I don't know how much time you spend hanging and taking stands down, but surely it can't be more than like.... 14 days a year, max? Throughout the year (not during hunting season) deer calm down much quicker than any other time.

I do hunt some of the same places, but I don't generally hunt with a shotgun. I don't pressure these areas very heavily at all just because the birds are in the same places every year. The same setup works time and time again on the same properties so I don't really have to be all over the place to find birds. To me, pressuring deer is a continual thing... much more than a couple of days a month.

As for these:
Pressure deer during summer scouting/stand hanging.
My scouting is done from afar with binocs for the majority. Stand hanging is about 2-day deal.
Pressure deer duringbow season. Absolutely
Pressure deer during gun season. Not a bit
Pressure deer during post-season scouting/shed hunting. Slightly but not much
Pressure deer while removing stands. Again, all stands down in a couple of hours.
Pressure deer while turkey scouting. Nope
Pressure deer while turkey hunting. I'm in the woods so yes, but not necessarily pressuring them.
