bogobble - Thats the very reason I went to a longbow. I have no regrets at all - shooting in a tradional way is so much more rewarding than shooting a compound. I have given up rifle hunting, I don't own a compound anymore and my wife bought me a video for Christmas on how to make your own longbows. Evolution towards a pure way of hunting - and its the journey, not the destination thats exciting.
