I place my thumb along the lower ridge of my jaw and the tip of my nose on the string. My release doesn't dictate my anchor because it's adjustable, I adjust the length so that when my hand (thumb along the jaw line) is in the proper position the string will be just touching the tip of my nose. That's how I know I'm anchored correctly and will work with even a fleece mask on.
