Maybe..... but it doesn't bother me. When I didn't have a range finder I used to step off distances, measure distances etc etc. I can't justify a game camera so I'm not in that boat. A camera doesn't put you in front of a deer. It just lets you know one passed that way. Most of us have limited hunting space so would have probably been there anyway. It's just cool to catch something unknown on film. I really doubt a lot of deer are shot because of the camera. Yes some are caught on film but many would have been taken anyway. Compounds improve that's for sure..... but you still have to shoot them. They haven't made a bow that settles the nerves and takes the shot for you. Technology has improved.... but in a facets of our lives. If you think it's too sophisticated.... no one makes you shoot what you do. Do it your way. Whatever floats your boat.
