Well I got it as a present, so I don' t know about spending the money I really like the call. It has the frictionite surface just like Ol' Glory and as far as I can tell just like the sla-tek surface on Knight & Hales Ol' Yellow. This call really likes my Woods Wise Mystic Stick. Sounds great as is or strapped to your leg. Should be great for us mouth call impaired people for closing.
