Default RE: "fail safe" Muzzleloader bullet

ORIGINAL: corey012778

here's the deal,

after me and my friend got done at the range saturday. I got talking to my friend and ask him if he wanted to go hunting with me next season. I know I need to get him out on the range with me. he has really bad eye sight, so it is going to be with my usak scoped.

what would be thought of as a ML "fail safe" bullet

Noslers partition
barnes xpb
any other manufacturers
bore size conical

I figure I would worry about it now and gather and find what may be needed
Either of those two are good, however for < 100 yard shooting I would say the Barnes MZ would be best for him to use. Why? Expands quickly (like in 1 inch), penetrates very well, huge wound channels and shoots thru even elk. A nice big bright scope would be the best for him, 40mm of 50mm objective lens. Chap Gleason
