Default bowhunting out of blinds on the go.

I'm looking for info from other bowhunters about blind hunting. I know that blinds are very effective when set out and then hunted later.

But, I hunt public land, we can't leave them out. I hunt usually a different spot each day I go and I usually use my Lone Wolf climber. However, there are a few areas that I really wish to hunt, but there are no suitable trees to climb. These are usually grown up clearcuts between 3 and 20 acres.

What I want to know, is if I scout an area and go in the next morning and set up a blind and brush it in, will deer steer away from it most of the time or part of the time or hardly ever? I really don't want to buy a blind and use it a few times and get busted by deer and then let it sit unused. I'm looking at getting a double bull, but will consider any good archery blind.

Thanks for any help.

Oh, BTW is the double bull 360 very heavy. Could I pack it 1 to 2 miles?
