RE: Anybody got recipes for gas smokers?
There are some fine recipes posted earlier in the year on Jerky ,sausage making etc. also any hard wood or fruit wood would do . Its all a matter of personal taste and what you have on hand. Be sure to soak the chips at least a half an hour, or mix your sawdust with enough water to moisten. Any wood or dust that is too dry will impart a harsh smokey flavor instead of mellow one.
