Strutter, the texas conservation website says that in Scurry County the season is from March 29 to May 11.
It opens up in south Texas March 15. I guess I just figured you were hunting south Texas. North zone it does open March 29. I really don't know where Scurry County is. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
