The guy behind the counter at Gander had one on his bow and he said that it for quietness, but I would also think it would reduce kick and viabration?? Where can I look one up??
In my opinion a string suppressor is one of the best things you can do to improve your bow. It significantly reduces noise, reduces vibration, and eliminates the potential for the string to slap your wrist if you have that problem.
That's why so many new bows come that way from the manufacturer now. They just work.
