My fav. has got to be the evening I had 3 big bucks by me. It was the rut and I had an old gnarly racked buck coming in. I had a small opening at 35 Yards and passed hoping for a better shot. The wind swirled and he snorted and ran. I grunted to see what would happen and a Very high and wide 8 pointer came out with the hair standing up on his back. He came to within 65 yards but turned and disappeared into the popple slashing. Shortly after that I heard my first grunt-snort-wheeze on the other side of me. ThenI could see the trees moving from him rubbing. I never saw him or got off a shot that night but it it still my best hunt ever.
