Hey cam, the breeding season is here now. They may have drug that deer off becouse tha"re not hunting as much as they normally would. I think they drag stuff off to where thay feel more safe. I have noticed thay usually pull stuff to an open area, like they have a better view of area. one more bit of advice, if you get out and do happen to kill a coyote. Don"t think it is game over, keep calling. Start with a kiyi, sounds like when you step on your dogs toe. Then back to distress, or what you were doing to get the first dog in. you would be suprised how many times you"ll see another dog.
