Brand new outta the box a DVX100b is $2395..................A PD 170 is in the neighborhood of $2800 and has superior low light capabilities yes, but does not compare to the DVX100 in picture quality.

You will never find any of the above mentioned cameras in your price range, even a good used DVC30 will run you upwards of 1000........find one for less and I would almost guarantee it has been used and abused.

If you are using the XH-A1 as your primary why aren't you looking into HD consumer cameras??????
Canon makes one in a consumer model for around750 I believe it is the HV20.
