Another thing I never even considered was driving past a school with a gun visible. Sure could put a totally unassuming person in a big world of hurt real quick....... Man, how times have changed!! Not for the better, either, I feel.....
I took hunter safety in 1973. Had atrapshoot on the last day. There were 3 of us standing at the bus stop with cased shotguns in one hand and a 2 boxes of shells in the other. Bus driver just said "leave them here in the front, you can have them when you get off."left them in the office and picked them up after school. Shot blue rocks till dark and my dad picked us up. Our firing line was the pole vault runway on the track right behind the school. Yes, the times have changed.
