OKAY NOW WAKE UP! and lets time warp forward 50years to the present.
That sounds like a good idea excpt most of those great bass reels coundn't hold the stuff needed when trolling down 100ft plus..They just couldn't handle it as well even if the gears were to hold up they still wouldn't hold the line needed..
