You would only be able to get a used receiver. Just buy the most basic model, and sell the barrel and stock to recoup some of the new stuff costs.
I bought a new receiver on Rimfire site. I put a laminated thumbhole and a Green Mountain Barrel on mine. I like it. I have got about $500 in mine. that includes an upgraded trigger, and a few other options. The guy I bought it from even put it together for me. Tom.
