duke, it is indeed from this past year, it was in a small woodlot that we hunt hard every year for sheds, we would have found him them. It still had a little velvet that i peeled off for scoring and still sports some stink
Really. Those antlers look as though they have been in the weather for at least a year. They are totally white.. no evidence at all of a fresh antler color.
(oh and I noticed my outrageous score of 146.... [&:] I meant a 126[8D]).
I will blame Carrie Underwood's fine a** for that one...
