duke, it is indeed from this past year, it was in a small woodlot that we hunt hard every year for sheds, we would have found him them. It still had a little velvet that i peeled off for scoring and still sports some stink [:'(]

Blood.. I don't believe that skull is from this past year. I would guess at least a year old.
