Chuckacorn......Heard lots of stories about a local farmer in that area who keeps the deer herd "under control" but also posts his ground... maybe part of the reason you don't see as many deer. That is some nice country out there you hunt in.
Yea I have heard that too......sad...... we have a cabin in kenwood, we hunt between clymer, Diamondville, cherry tree and pine flats. we have a lot of property available to us to hunt still, but we have been losing a little every year. and about the farmer thining deer down, I do not know if it is the same one, but my cousin worked for a farmer in the area and he said that he knows of over 150 deer shot over this last summer and just left to lay......and after he said that we hardly saw any deer this year... If I could have a few words with these farmers that are "controlling" the deer......grrrr
